These evaluations focus on identifying an individual’s strengths. The findings are used to formulate strategies for remediation. These strategies will capitalize on the child's strengths in the least restrictive environment.
Dr. Andreotti integrates existing laws, such as the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), with current research on neuropsychological functioning.
Dr. Andreotti follows a Best Practices model, utilizing state-of-the-art, research validated assessment measures to provide a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s needs. Each battery is individualized based on the specific referral.

A comprehensive neuropsychological assessment focuses on identifying the underlying psychological processes that may account for a learning disability. The findings are used in the diagnosis of learning disabilities as described by IDEA and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual: Fifth Edition (DSM-V).
In addition to evaluations for learning disabilities, Dr. Andreotti also provides assessments for autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Dr. Andreotti uses the Autism Diagnostic Observation System, Second Edition (ADOS-2), the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and the Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ).
